Life with the Zafira continues and it still impresses with its pace and space. Don't think I've owned a car this long in a very long time. This is a good sign!
A vxs whats that, well your about to find out..........
I guess that most "real" motoring journalists have an inward tingle of excitement when they hear an expensive graunch, grind or rattle from their long term test car.
My criteria in choosing a new car centre around one thing: what would I think if I saw someone else in one?
I have long had a passion for cars, but seldom the money to indulge it. My first legal driving experience was on my 17th birthday when my elder sister put me on the insurance of her 3 litre Ford Capri and took me for a drive.
Like Tony Blair feeling the hand of history on his shoulder, my words have come back to haunt me. I signed off my last entry about the VX220 with the sentiment that I would not be selling any time soon.
So I decided to buy a VX220. I'm not rich, and by rights I shouldn't drive a flash car. I certainly shouldn't be driving a hand built, two seater roadster as my only means of transport.
